Recommendation To Guardians

Recommendation To Guardians

  1. Parents must be ready to abide by the rules of the school.
  2. The school authorities rely upon the full co-operation of the parents and guardians in all matters concerning the education of their children. Parents are to look into the school diary every evening and see that the lesson and homework assigned for the next day are done. Remarks made in the diary by the principal or the teacher should be seen and signed.
LD Don Bosco School
  1. When communicating with the school authorities in writing or by phone, the parents are requested to mention the std. and section of their children and use stationery and format.
  2. Children should not be forced to study for longer periods. Tuition is injurious to genuine progress and is a waste of money. Students may never seek private tuitions from the one who is instructing them in the class.
  3. Homework includes the revision of all that has been taught in the class each day, whether this has been set to be studied or not. Hence the same amount of time should be given to study each evening whether written homework is set or not.
  4. If any complaint is to be made concerning a child's teacher, please see the principal.
  5. Teachers are not available for consultation during school sessions. Permission should be taken by the principal for the same.
  6. Please encourage your ward to be resourceful. Early in life they should be taught to keep their room clean, to polish his/her own shoes, make their own bed, and take personal pride in their work.
  7. It is strongly recommended not to withdraw your child for family and social functions. Prior sanction is needed to attend marriages and celebrations during school time.
Adherence to the school calendar and punctuality for all classes spell success for the future. If the Parents and Guardians co-operate with school authorities in the education of their wards, success is assured.
  8. We strongly discourage parents from allowing their children to wear ornaments in school. The school will not be responsible for any articles or money lost or stolen.
  9. All circulars sent by the school are to be acknowledged on the page provided in the diary.
  10. Parents are expected to attend parent-teacher meeting and in other school functions to which they are invited.
