Students should arrive at the school 15 minutes before the Assembly. Soon after the Assembly bell, the school gates will be locked and the late comers will have t return home at the risk of the parents/guardians.
Students who have been absent from class must have reason entered in regularity record. When the leave exceeds three days it needs the sanction and permission of the Principal. No Student shall proceed on leave without sanction, otherwise a fine of Rs 100/- per day will be charged for the next 8 days.

Absence from the class for Birthdays, Marriages, Feasts, Excursions, etc. is strongly objected to.
Any damage done to the school property should be made good by the pupil concerned.
Continuous absence for 30 days or more without information, will be considered equivalent to the withdrawal of the student from school and his/her name will be cut off the rolls. Re-admission will be done on payment of Rs. 500/-as re-admission fee.
A medical certificate must be produced for absence due to a contagious or infectious illness
When pupils go from one class to another, they will do so in silence and order.
No funds can be raised without the permission of the Principal. No Gift will be given to the Members of the Staff.
Students shall speak in English at all times in the school premises.
Students should take good care of their books and personal belongings. Each article should be marked with the pupil's name, admission number and class.
The School is not responsible for goods lost. We discourage children from bringing any expensive article to school.
SCHOOL DIARY SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL DAILY AND EVEN ON EXAMINATION DAYS. Magazines, Newspapers, etc, are not to be brought to the school.
No student is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours or recess without the explicit permission of the Principal. No child will be sent home even if some urgent need arises, unless a duly authorised person comes to fetch him/her with a note of authority from the parents/guardian or parent's copy of the student's I. Card.
All children are expected to bring the Tiffin with them for the noon recess. No Tiffin boxes will be accepted by the office.
Parents and guardian are not allowed to see their children or to visit teachers or to enter the school verandah during school hours.
All homework should be done neatly and the day's work always dated.
Students should treat others respectfully.
LD DON BOSCO SCHOOL students should remember that the school is judged by their conduct. Therefore they should behave in a gentle manner on their way to and from school.
A student should have at least a minimum attendance of 75% class days per term.
1. As per the rules of CISCE a student appearing in the ICSE examination must have a minimum attendance of 75% in each year (i.e. in Std. 9 & 10).
2. As soon as the student is promoted/admitted to Std. 9 the parent will be bound by the following conditions:
  1. That his/her ward will attend classes regularly and that if his/her ward's attendance falls below 75% without any genuine reason acceptable to the school then the school may take appropriate action as per the rules of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
  2. That his/her ward at all times will maintain an acceptable standard of discipline to his/her peers, teachers and elders.
  3. That his/her ward will fulfill the minimum requirements of the school or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations in respect to his/her academic performance. Failure or non-fulfillment of this requirement will give the school authorities the right to seek the student's immediate withdrawal from the school.
